Prof. Augustine Makokha
Prof. Augustine Makokha, Dean of Engineering at Moi University, holds a PhD from the University of the Witwatersrand. An IEK corporate member and Royal Academy of Engineering Fellow, he brings 20 years of expertise in renewable energy, fluid systems, and pan-African engineering capacity building.
Prof. Alex Muumbo
Eng. Prof. Alex Munyasya Muumbo, a Mechanical Engineering Professor at the Technical University of Kenya, brings over 30 years of academic and industry expertise. An IEK Fellow and EBK Assessor, he champions sustainable energy, infrastructure safety, and engineering education through major East African projects.


Prof. Cyrus Wekesa
Prof. Wekesa, an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Eldoret, brings over 20 years of academic expertise. Specializing in power systems, smart grids, and electric mobility, this accomplished researcher and external examiner has successfully mentored over 25 graduate students.
Eng. Grace Onyango
Eng. Grace Onyango, a Registered Professional Engineer, holds a BEng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Northumbria University. With extensive industry experience at Engineers Borad of Kenya (EBK) and Arcskills, she is a former EBK Board Member and IEK Council Member dedicated to advancing engineering leadership and global innovation.


Eng. Monica Atemba
Eng. Monicah Nasike Atemba, a registered Professional Engineer and IEK Corporate Member, holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Mombasa. As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Kenya Ports Authority, she champions technical operations, risk management, and ISO safety compliance.
Dr. Godiana Philipo
Dr. Godiana Hagile Philipo holds a Doctor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Paderborn University, Germany. As a Lecturer and researcher at Tanzania’s Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology, her expertise spans smart grids, renewable integration, and sustainable clean energy systems across Africa.


Mr. Richard H. Nyikuri
Mr. Richard H. Nyikuri, Principal Industrial Training Officer at NITA, holds a Master’s degree from Moi University. He lectures in textiles, engineering, and business management across multiple institutions. A global conference representative for Kenya, he actively champions workplace safety, gender equality, and disability mainstreaming initiatives.
Mr. Evans Oyieyo
CPA. Evans is the Deputy Director of Corporate Support Services at Bandari Maritime Academy. With over 25 years of cross-sector experience, he oversees finance, HR, strategy, and IT. A certified accountant, he holds a BCom and an MBA from the University of Nairobi.


Ms. Suzzanne Kalume
Suzzanne Kalume is the Webmaster at Moi University, overseeing the institution’s digital presence and web strategy. Holding an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi and a BSc. in Information Technology from JKUAT, she expertly blends technical IT proficiency with strategic institutional leadership.
