Course developer for the PLEASE Project

Dr. Emmanuel Chemweno is an academic in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Moi University. As a course developer for the PLEASE Project, he is contributing to the development of Autonomous Maritime Systems

Dr. Godiana Hagile Philipo is an academic and researcher affiliated with the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST), where her work is associated with materials, energy and sustainable energy research. Her research includes renewable energy systems and energy management.

Emmanuel Mukubwa is an academic in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Moi University. As part of the PLEASE Project course-development team, he is contributing to the development of Applied AI for Smart Engineering Systems.

Dr. Claudia Bess is a Lecturer in the Department of Chemical and Biosystems Engineering at the Technical University of Kenya. Her academic and research background spans chemical and process engineering, civil engineering and environmental research.

Dr. Dorcus Arshley Shisoka is a Lecturer in Computer Science at Kibabii University. She has a background in computer science and has developed research interests in areas including systems security, biometrics, bioinformatics, technology integration and digital systems.

Dr. Gibson Kimutai is a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics, Physics and Computing at Moi University. His academic and research interests include Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data, and he has published research in Scopus- and SCI-indexed journals, including venues associated with ACM and IEEE.

Dr. Joshua Agola is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) and serves as Dean of the School of Informatics and Innovative Systems.

Alice Kasyoka Musili is an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) professional at Siginon Group, where she serves as an EHS Assistant. Her professional role places her within the field of workplace health, safety and environmental management, providing a practical industry perspective on safety in engineering and operational environments.
