Moi University | Course Developer – IoT for Smart Engineering Systems

Dr. Gibson Kimutai is a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics, Physics and Computing at Moi University. His academic and research interests include Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data, and he has published research in Scopus- and SCI-indexed journals, including venues associated with ACM and IEEE.

As a course developer for the PLEASE Project, Dr. Kimutai is contributing to the development of IoT for Smart Engineering Systems. The course brings together the growing role of connected devices, data and intelligent technologies in modern engineering environments. His research interests in AI, IoT and Big Data align closely with the emerging technological foundations of smart engineering systems, positioning him to contribute both theoretical and practical perspectives to the course.
