Kibabii University | Course Developer – Cybersecurity for Smart Engineering Systems

Dr. Dorcus Arshley Shisoka is a Lecturer in Computer Science at Kibabii University. She has a background in computer science and has developed research interests in areas including systems security, biometrics, bioinformatics, technology integration and digital systems.

Dr. Shisoka has also contributed to research and innovation initiatives at Kibabii University, including the university’s Information Communication and Technology Hub project. Her work has included digital content development, integration of digital tools and monitoring and evaluation of digital initiatives.

As a PLEASE Project course developer, she is developing Cybersecurity for Smart Engineering Systems. The course addresses the importance of protecting increasingly connected engineering systems, digital infrastructure and data against cybersecurity threats. Her expertise in systems security and digital technologies provides a strong foundation for developing relevant cybersecurity learning content for emerging smart engineering environments.
